The Law of Due Season

To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted” Ecclesiastes 3:1-3

The presence of pressure and stress concerning the manifestation of God’s promise in the life of a Christian is an indication of partial understanding of God’s law of spiritual manifestation-The Law of Due Season. Just as “The Law of Seed-time and harvest” is a foundation principle that will never go away, but lies in our understanding of “Sowing and Reaping”. The wisdom of “The Law of Due Season,” lies in the understanding that “Due Season,” always comes because it is a law.

“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:10-11

The Bible is not a book of rules but a bag of seeds that will produce harvest for any area of our life. God’s Word and Promises are incorruptible seeds that come from God, it will never fail. Numbers 23:19; “God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” His WORD must come to pass because it’s a law. We just have to understand that there is due season for everything. God’s timing might be different from our timing. His method of working things out might be different from what we are used to. Instead of spending time worrying about whether God’s Word will come to pass in our life; let’s spend time preparing for the promise. God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. The first step towards the physical manifestation of these spiritual blessing (God’s Promises) in our lives is by first planting the seed of God’s promises concerning any area of life.

The manifestation (Due Season) is set for an appointed time; but one can miss the divine moment due to lack of preparation. We have to prepare and hold on like the five wise virgins in the Parable of the Ten Virgins (Mathew 25:1-13). The five wise virgins prepared for the promise (The Bridegroom) by having extra oil and looking with eagerness to the fulfillment of that promise. They have the determination that; whatever occurs, be it lengthy time or adverse circumstances, when the promise comes, they will be prepared and looking with eagerness.

Meanwhile, if we are not prepared when the promise shows up we will miss it. So, let’s focus on preparing ourselves for the manifestation of God’s promise because it will surely come. God is faithful to His word, if we believe, even if it looks impossible, God will bring it to pass. (Hebrews 10:23). So, Instead of spending time worrying about whether God’s Word will come to pass in our life; let’s be prepared, keep waiting and watching with joy and anticipation for the promise.
